Artist's Comments Here is Leo and Lotus, according to Fred Wolf's cartoon version- Leo instantly liked Lotus and she liked him back over a short amount of time. I feel as if Lotus is based off Karai, but she is interesting as is. There was another girl Leo liked named Radical (I'm not kidding, that was her name), but something happened to her. All that aside, I like Lotus! I'm glad she got more than one episode (even if I think she was only in two!). And this pic is very nice. I like the more masculine jaw version, best. If I recall, Lotus wasn't super feminin, anyway. ^__^

Yep, that's why I gave her a more square jaw as we all know, not all girls have to be fluffy sweetie cute or salon made up beautiful. Some are as rough and tough as boys (some even more so too- Canker sisters come to mind from Ed, Edd, and Eddie).

I think Lotus is Fred Wolf's version of Karai actually myself. ^^ It's the same basis idea though: cutie 15 yr teen Leo falling head over heels for a pretty Asian lady (usually much older than him) who warms up to him over time.

They might make girlfriends for the Turtles in the comics someday. I hope they hire me for it, I'm good at terrapin romance ^.^ If people would voice that to them, they might consider (once/if they have an opening).

Sounds a lot like Karai and she even looks like him as well. I'm not sure why people are so delicate about the guys loving a girl. It's not like they don't deserve it. They do need love and a fathers love can only do so mich.
Nothing wrong with that. Just a quick hug and all that. It may seem mary sue like but actually there are alot of people who feel like that but they don't express it. To me, doing yourself with your favourite charactor shows just how much they mean to you. PLus it makes you feel good about yourself, I've done it but it never went any further then the pics. Thats about it.
I think I heard them saying that the turtles aren't interested in girls but they kinda shot themselves in the foot as they are saying they are technically gay. If you read between the lines, but I guess some should mention it to them. I mean whats wrong with them loving girls? I mean Donnie and April is accepted by a lot of the fans and I tghink it'll work.
