Here is my version of Draco from memory and 3 of the Ninja Turtles below without their masks. A reviewer who read my Destruction of Turtle Trust fic said they wanted to know what the adult Turtles would look like, this is it. :)
My first time drawing anything TMNT (older versions or new).
This art is current for this time and date. Older pics will post soon as possible by the method I described in my Journal update.

Yep I've been bitten by the terrapin bug once again ^_^ I haven't strayed much from reptiles though. When I saw Draco in TMNT, I thought he looked like a leaner version of Shendu (but red scales instead of olive). So I feel at home with my refreshed love for the ninja shellback reptiles. With Usagi Yojimbo the rabbit samurai, it makes TMNT even sweeter (as rabbits are my favorite animal). After loving (and still caring for) Rurouni Kenshin, Meiji Swordsman- TMNT reminds me of Kenshin as well (Leonardo comes to mind). Same for Mushrambo (aka Shinzo in USA) and Samurai Jack (so loved that show too), 2 more connections. Martial arts and sword fighting, TMNT has a lot of what I loved in other shows and animes. I suppose it's high time I draw and write out my fandom for the Turtles after being a fan for over 20 years, heh! ^_^

Thanks for the review for my JCA fic (don't forget to R&R for the TMNT fic too- if you want to that is). I think Drago would be the strongest with all the demon chi powers and his aunts & uncles would have some trouble fighting against him in a battle royale I've had in my head for months. Working up to it, though it's not to be seen even in the future chapters yet. If you'd like any spoilers, let me know :) There's plenty of twists and turns in the future chapters ^.^

Drago is definitely the toughest but how do you rank the others, for me it's Drago, Shendu, Tchang Zu, Dai Gui or Bai Tza and after that its down to circumstances. And as for a battle between the demons, it would really depend on how well they managed to organise themselves, but if Drago went to the air to begin with he could take the ones who can fly first and then the others.

I'm thinking Drago first (when he's got all 8 demon chi) then either Dai Gui and Tchang Zu, then Shendu (though Bai Tsa could out do him, so it's a grab bag there as well). That's a good strategy for Drago to take out the ones in the air first and not need to deal with the ones who can't fly. Knocking them out one by one is better than trying to get them all at once. I'll try to remember that for the story. :)

I like the idea that the red marks near their ears (ear holes, whatever ^__^) could act as their masks. Pretty neat. And this is a really awesome way to interpret how they'll look as they age. Very well done!

Natural markings are always coolies (the big cats got spots, stripes, etc- cute innocent turtles have stripes and spots, though more stripes). I swear turtles look like oil painting swirls, the way their markings are. I always wondered, are pastel turtles naturally pastel or are forced to look that way by human DNA tinkering?

There was one comic cover I liked that showed Splinter in the BG with the Turtles in the front (like real turtles but man-sized and loin cloths, heh!), it was like my style and spiffy! I love that cover :D

I want them to look more turtle-ish, but not monster-ish like Tokka (or maybe Slash, though he looks more tame than Tokka- the reject from Dark Crystal as a Skeksis). Nor do I want them to look like birds or griffin-ish either. A turtle is a turtle and they have a special look to them.
If I draw any of the Turtles too much like a Skeksis, let me know. I don't want them to ever be Skeksis-ish. =P

You draw these boys just fine. Your way, with that lovely touch of realism- and people (well, I can speak for me, anyway) can still totally see the original character. :heart:
