The background is a little distracting. I mean, it's well muted, but it's so different from they way the boys are drawn that it kind of takes a bit away from the pic.

Which is unfortunate, because the Turtles look great! Excellent poses, colour and tone on each of them. Not to mention the expressions. Still, it has a kind of cohesion to it. I like it just the same.

Sorry for the late reply. ^^; I couldn't find a good sewer type BG so I put the pipes in. I entered this into the Mirage art contest thingie, but I have a feeling they don't like my art. I probably will never win, but I'm going to keep entering so they won't forget me =P

Yas, I'll never give up. The stuff they have up is worse (well from what other people say who buy or used to buy the comics) than what I have to offer, so I don't get it. They could just not have money to hire new artists too, which makes more sense, but doesn't make me feel much better anyway ^^;

I hear you. When I was small, I entered magazine art contests- especially one for Fox Kids where you could make up a mutant character and they'd get to be in a comic or something. But I never even got a letter thanking me for entering.

Hell, I sent a pic of Piccolo that- at the time- was really good, and never saw it. Ah well.
