Like I thought and as usual, I did not have a happy birthday I actually am getting scared now whenever my birthday comes around, more bad happens than good. (Plus my dad forgot my birthday as usual even though I told him yesterday and today and a week before.) But I do appreciate those on DA wishing me such regardless. Thank you!

I know I won't win, but at least maybe more people will see my art on DA. That's better than nothing. (Sorry, very depressed working practically 2 days straight with about 2 hours of sleep, not doing very good right now.) There was no party for me, but that always happens anyway. I couldn't bake my own cake, because I'm too tired. Store cakes make me sick (I have lactose and gluten intolerance issues so I miss out on lots of yummy things to avoid pain) so I have to make my own. I don't mean to bring anyone down, just feel really terrible lately. Had to help out my dad as well and it was not easy to do. Not looking for pity. I'm embarrassed to even write any of this. Just so very unhappy now...

It's my first time and I hope to get a runner up placing, but I doubt I'll ever win anything. There's so many talents designers; it's a very tough competition. But I find it unfair that certain artists are winning over and over. There should be a limit on the same person winning. Let other people win, come on! >_<

I will be posting a dire plight I have and hope there are those out there who can help me. For those without Twitter, my plight is this:
I hope someday to make official works with different companies for shows I have interest in, but I have no connections, I don't know anyone who does have connections within the companies, and basically I'm an unknown artist in the vast sea. I'm a little nobody fish wishing / hoping for more.
Why?
For the sake of helping others and especially my elderly 76 (77 this year) who is in poor health. I'm going to be 33 on June 4th and my birthdays in the past have not been happy ones nor celebrated, which I'm sadly getting used to.
My mother had an abused empty life where her children (the ones that aren't dead) are her only happiness and reason to live. She missed out on a singing career and wishes more for her c and keep spreading the word, thank you!
